I’m not here to toot my own horn, I’m here to teach you how I shop cheaper, smarter, and how I can manage to look so good, that everyone just has to ask: Oh my gosh! You look so good! I love your outfit! -You’re probably wondering what qualifies me to talk about smart shopping. Well, I’ll tell you.
When you have gone to Nordstrom’s and walked out with a whole outfit, including shoes and spent less than $80.00, and you’re still using it after 7 years, I think that’s a pretty good resume. My name is Susana and I’m a self confessed bargain shopper. Now, I’m not cheap. I’m going to show you how to find good pieces that you’ll wear for years to come, and will make people say:
Smart Shopping Goals
My gosh! You always look great! Fantastic outfit! Great compliment by the way- there isn’t a better feeling than walking into a room full of people who spent your salary of 3 months in their outfit, and you are the one who’s getting all the attention and compliments, having spent less than a hundred dollars on yours (Best feeling in the world!). I’m not going to encourage you to buy cheap stuff, I’ll just teach you to buy quality products in an inexpensive way and manage to get pieces that will fit you forever and will get you compliments just as long.
Let’s start from the beginning, with my Mom. I know, I know…All children think that their Mothers are the most beautiful women in the world. My mother just happened to be gorgeous. To the point that my father’s best friend told him he was crazy to divorce a movie star looking wife. She was getting hit on even when she was pregnant with me. (we’re Cuban, that’s how it is over there). But it wasn’t just her beauty that made her stand out. She always looked polished and flawless. Never wore a miniskirt in her life. Actually, my Grandmother made one for her, and after using it for 1 photo she put it away. I was the one who ended up using it 20 years later.
This takes me to the point of my next episode- Dress for your body type!
